PAC Custodian Puts Shine on Alice Silverman Floor

Stephan, OCCA PAC Custodian, has been using this down time to work on a long awaited project, the repainting of the Alice Silverman Floor. Here’s his take on it.

“Hi everyone!!! Stephan here! Your intrepid custodian has been working on a very special project since the Covid-19 lockdown. I have literally been on my hands and knees in the Alice Silverman Theatre. ‘Why?’ you may ask. Well, I have been scrubbing and scraping and sweeping and mopping each and every row from A to M to get it all prepared for a grand repainting. After many years of our patrons and theater folk walking on the floors, they are a little worse for wear. Well, no longer.”

“When the PAC reopens (sooner than later, we all hope) you will notice that the aisles have had a much needed facelift. I have been wanting to do this for a long time but it was hard to schedule such a project with so many events going on. You do know that there are only about 15 days in the year when the PAC is NOT being used. We all cannot wait until we can see you again and hear your laughter and applause. And remember, NO MORE CHEWING GUM!!!”
