Robert Kentta, the Cultural Resources Director at Confederated Tribes of Siletz Indians, will give a presentation about the history of the Siletz Tribe.
Mark Pullam, Storyteller of the Confederated Tribes of Siletz Indians, will share stories and discuss the meaning and importance of the art of storytelling.
The paintings of Lenape artist Lenny Harmon will be on display, with the artist on hand to answer questions. His works are statements about how Native people have been treated throughout the years, and he has recently been shown in several art studios across the country.
The event will finish with a demonstration of Pow Wow dances, and a visit from Little Miss and Junior Miss Siletz, who will talk about what it’s like to be the ambassador for the Siletz Tribe.
