Oregon Coastal Arts

Based in Newport, Oregon Coast Council for the Arts celebrates, promotes, and develops community arts on the central Oregon Coast. We are dedicated to Belonging, Learning, Creativity, Inclusion, and Collaboration. Learn about our mission here.

Oregon Coast Council for the Arts manages Newport Performing Arts Center (PAC) – the premiere performance and event venue on the central Oregon coast, Newport Visual Arts Center (VAC) – featuring three (free) rotating art galleries as well as studios and classrooms, and the Oregon Coast Art Bus – a beautiful, mobile arts classroom for artistic learning and education.

OCCA seeks to engage our communities (artistic, cultural, and geographic) and provide an environment in which everyone feels welcome, wanted, and appreciated, with the support and respect needed to be their full, authentic selves.

We invite you to learn more about Oregon Coast Council for the Arts, our coastal arts initiatives, and our programs - such as the Oregon Coast Jazz Party, Newport Paper and Book Arts Festival, annual youth summer camps in visual and performing arts, and various arts learning classes for adults and youth, and our Teaching Artist Preparation program.
