DONATE TO OCCA

Oregon Coast Council for the Arts (OCCA) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization developing, promoting, supporting, and celebrating community arts on the central Oregon coast.

OCCA manages two facilities—The Newport Performing Arts Center (PAC), and the Newport Visual Arts Center (VAC) – as well as the Oregon Coast Art Bus.

The PAC is home to nine resident artist companies and hosts a variety of live performances, broadcasts, touring shows, community events, and private gatherings throughout the facility and in its two theatres—the 328-seat Alice Silverman Theatre and the 80-seat David Ogden Stiers Studio Theatre. The VAC, located at the nearby Nye Beach turnaround, houses two gallery spaces, a showcase space, classrooms/meeting rooms, a community kitchen, and a ceramics kiln studio. The VAC presents free-to-the-public rotating art exhibits and hosts community events, workshops, classes, and private gatherings. Click here to learn more about the VAC

The Oregon Coast Art Bus is a beautiful mobile arts classroom bringing arts education, engaging opportunities, and creative experiences to coastal communities — especially those with limited access to art experiences or transportation. Wrapped in the beautiful “Celebrate Oregon!” artwork created by Liza Burns and developed by Oregon Cultural Trust, the bus is something of a traveling work of art, as well as a mobile ambassador for arts education.
