Beachy Cards: Intro to Watercolor
with Catherine Hingson
Create quick and easy hand-made cards with a beach theme. Learn watercolor techniques such as lifting out clouds, how to mix colors, and how salt interacts with watercolor, while painting ocean-themed mini art works. Beginners welcome.

$65 (includes materials fee, snacks)

Passport to Art: These are one-day introductory workshop style classes for 2 to 3 hours where materials, tools, and even snacks are provided! These classes are meant to introduce a new medium or art style in a fun low stress environment where the goal is to explore and play and not to create a masterpiece. Youth ages 12+ with a participating adult are welcome to these classes.

Catherine Hingson is a local artist from Depoe Bay. She is known for her impressionistic marine scenes in oil and watercolors. She leads a plein air group in Lincoln County, helping artists enjoy painting outside. Hingson teaches watercolor classes locally.
