Mary began her art life as a child, drawing the same horse over and over on scratchpaper, on her notebooks, on her homework, on anything that would stand still long enough. Once she had perfected the art of the crayola horse, she began experimenting with different art styles and eventually, different subjects. She took an extended break from art while she went away and lived life, got married and had a baby, and now she’s returned to her first love.
Mary is a self-taught artist. Over the years she’s taught herself to use graphic pencils, inks, charcoal, oil, acrylics, Photoshop and 3d modeling programs to express her artistic vision. She’s a gallery-represented fine artist, an illustrator, a character designer and a sometimes sculptor of tiny things.
