An avid history buff, Teresa has been involved with mountain man era blackpowder clubs since 1985. In addition to shooting reproduction muzzleloading rifle and pistol, she enjoys activities that include throwing knife, tomahawk and spear. This interest is reflected in “Sweetbriar”, a historical romance set in the turbulent years leading up to the War of 1812.


“Starting Over” depicts an ex-fashion designer early in her new career as a financial advisor, both activities familiar to Teresa Brown. A seamstress since age 12, she still sews many of her own clothes and has owned a financial services business for the past 20 years.
