Jazz in the abstract. Can you hear color? Can you see music? For critically and nationally acclaimed jazz vocalist Kathy Kosins, it comes naturally. In addition to her principal career as an acclaimed jazz vocalist, Kosins has maintained a second career as a visual artist, primarily as a painter of abstract original canvases and has enjoyed gallery showings of her works throughout North and South America.
Kosins’s paintings can be viewed in the PAC Lobby during May and the first part of June prior to a June 8th “Ladies of Cool” concert. Meet Kosins in an artist reception from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, June 7 in the PAC Lobby.
