Now in its 23rd, year, the Newport Paper & Book Arts Festival (NPBAF) is regarded as the largest paper arts festival on the Pacific Coast. In 2018, the festival will be held from April 20-22 and will include ten instructors leading 17 full-day workshops in fields such as surface design, book binding, assemblage and mixed media.

The NPBAF annually draws instructors and over 120 attendees from across the Western United States and beyond.

The NPBAF is known for the quality of its workshop leaders, and instructors are selected for their background and expertise in specific book-art fields.
