March Concert Cancelled.

The Newport Symphony is committed to the health and safety of everyone at our performance. Community by community, the impact of COVID-19 is variable.  Even though currently, there are no known cases in Lincoln County, OR., the Governor of Oregon has declared the banning of events with crowds of 250 or more if there is not three feet between each person.  Our performances on March 21 and 22 are part of this declaration.

We do prioritize the health of our audience, musicians and staff.  As a result, we are cancelling our March 21 and March 22 performances.  At the moment, we do not have plans to reschedule these performances.  If that changes, we will inform you when that could take place.

Assuming things change positively in the near future, we will be holding our traditional Fourth of July free community concert as well as a concert featuring popular film Music on July 18.  We will be sending out information about those as soon as we are assured of the ability to hold performances.

AS YOU MAY BE WONDERING;

WHAT ARE MY TICKET OPTIONS DUE TO THE CANCELED PERFORMANCE?

First, your participation and support of the Newport Symphony Orchestra by the Ocean is very appreciated.  For that, we want to thank you for your purchase of tickets to the Grandeur and Passion performance.

Here are the options regarding your concert tickets:

Donate your ticket(s).  Please consider donating your ticket(s) to Newport Symphony and receive a donation receipt by emailing info@newportsymphony.org.

As a nonprofit arts organization, the Newport Symphony relies on the audience we serve. By donating your ticket(s) in lieu of a refund, you are providing vital support for the music and musicians that inspire and connect our community.   Your contribution enhances the quality of life in Oregon’s coastal communities with diverse, inspiring performances and engaging educational activities.

Refund your ticket(s).  Upon request, we will refund your ticket(s). As a non-subscription purchase, the refund will be minus the ticketing fee, which went to the ticket company and not the symphony.  Send request to,info@newportsymphony.org.
