Instructor: Morgan Locklear
Level: All Skill Levels, Ages 13 and up
This poetry workshop is perfect for both beginners and long-time poets alike. We will discuss the basics of form, meter, and rhyming schemes, and engage in one-shot writing exercises. Most of the evening will be spent in small groups, and one-on-one analysis of the poetry attendees may choose to bring or write.
Bio
Morgan Locklear is a novelist and songwriter from the Oregon Coast. He has over six hundred song credits and a half-dozen books in fiction and non-fiction. He is an avid reader, record collector, stage rat, and cook. He is legally blind, a triplet, and has traveled to several countries in the last few years with his wife, who is also a writer.
