Fancy Fall Foliage
with Rose James
Enjoy a relaxing class creating simple designs on real leaves that can be enjoyed and shared with loved ones or use as fall home decor. We will use acrylic paint markers on prepared dried leaves and explore a variety of lines, circles, textures and patterns to create a pleasing composition. This is a low stress class with no previous artistic talent required. This would be a fun class to enjoy with family and friends. We hope you will come join us for a lovely evening of art making with some special treasures to take home.

Passport to Art: These are one-day introductory workshop style classes for 2 to 3 hours where materials, tools, and even snacks are provided! These classes are meant to introduce a new medium or art style in a fun low stress environment where the goal is to explore and play and not to create a masterpiece. Youth ages 8+ with a participating adult are welcome to these classes.

Rose James is a retired high school biology and marine biology teacher who has always been a book maker and art tinkerer. She is drawn to exploring varied mediums and interesting combinations of materials. When she’s not creating artsy things in her studio, her and her husband spend their time traveling, renovating their home in Seal Rock, as well as volunteering at the Hatfield Marine Science Visitor Center.
