NPAF (Newport Performing Arts Festival) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization founded by Linda Knighten. NPAF aims to provides a safe, healthy, supportive atmosphere that enhances the ability to perform; to provide instruction in the form of private and group classes that encourages confidence, self-actualization, and the development of practical skills; to claim the bridge of Newport as a symbol of energetic movement toward the True Self; to offer a culminating event that seeks to give back to the local Newport community through awareness and financial and cultural giving.
Join us for two full days of intention setting, deeper personal work on your performance craft, and looking ahead so you can be the person you are called to be in the coming year. Performing Artists have always been the passionate ones who respond to world events. Having this awareness can be challenging but also incredibly rewarding. NPAF wants to offer you the opportunity to strengthen your inner voice and find your confidence to sing, compose, and smile in the face of what life has to offer.
The Winter Session offers mystical and practical workshops that are guaranteed to speak to your body, mind, and soul. We hope you will join us and get the year started with a powerful experience.
