Are you ready to take your block printing to the next level? If so, join us for this intermediate level class in a fun and supportive environment! We will expand your skillset by planning and carving a more complex design to yield a multicolor block print. Additionally, we will learn registration techniques to achieve accurate and consistent alignment of your prints. Participants will be able to try printing with different types of paper and pressing techniques in the VAC’s new printmaking studio. You will leave class with the skills to create an edition, or numbered series of professional looking prints. All supplies will be provided. Bring ideas for a two or three color print, and come prepared to transfer and carve your design.

*This is an intermediate class. (Prerequisite: Successful completion of an introductory block printing class, or single color block printing experience on your own.)

All materials will be provided. Deadline to register is October 23

Scholarships may be available. If funds are a barrier to learning, please CLICK HERE to request financial assistance.

To help ensure an enjoyable experience for all, we kindly encourage guests to consider attending fragrance-free in support of those with allergies and sensitivities.
