Carol Shenk’s artwork, inspired by her 2025 residency at the Yaquina Head Outstanding Natural Area, responds to its natural environment, the design of the lighthouse, the optics of the lighthouse lens, and the human history of the site from past to present. The exhibition includes a variety of media: block prints, mixed media collage, assemblage incorporating fiber elements, book arts, painting, and drawing.

An opening reception will be held on Sunday, March 8, featuring light refreshments and music.

An additional artist talk will take place on Friday, April 10th at 12:30pm.

To help ensure an enjoyable experience for all, we kindly encourage guests to consider attending fragrance-free in support of those with allergies and sensitivities.
