OCCA will host an Opening Reception for the Newport Paper and Book Arts Festival on Thursday April 23rd from 5 to 7pm featuring a guest speaker, Cindy Luxhoj. Cindy is excited to share her book excavation work along with her other book and paper art explorations with the NPBAF 2026 participants this evening. The talk will start around 5:30pm and last for about an hour including time at the end for Q&A. The reception will be in the lobby of the Performing Arts Center. We will have snacks and beverages available as well as a table for the $25 for the Future Fundraiser. We hope to see you there!
