Mural Celebration in Newport Oregon

You’re invited to join us for a mural celebration on the waterfront in Newport, Oregon! We’re unveiling three new mural panels on the US Coast Guard retaining wall, each painted by a Lincoln County artist. Back in fall 2025, we removed the original panels after they sustained serious damage. Shortly after, we put out an open call for local artists to create replacements. Now, we’re thrilled to share the work of the three winning artists — and we want you there to celebrate with us!
So grab your family, come on down, celebrate, create, and enjoy!
Throughout the afternoon, jazz trio Pacific Standard Time and Coastal Voices SoundWave will take the stage. Meanwhile, kids can dive into art activities on-site, and Asiatico will cater the event. (Asiatico’s patio will also stay open for anyone who’d like an adult beverage while soaking in the music on the pier.)
