A beloved New York holiday tradition! Mozart’s enchanting fable takes the stage in the Met’s abridged, English-language production. (By Julie Taymor—the Tony Award–winning director of Broadway’s The Lion King!) It runs under 90 minutes and dazzling audiences with vibrant sets, colorful costumes, and eye-popping puppetry. It’s the perfect show for the holidays and a delightful introduction to opera for audiences of all ages.
This special encore is presented in celebration of Met Opera Live in HD series’s 20th anniversary. It is not included in the season, but season ticket holders may add it on for only $19 by calling the box office (541-265-ARTS). Presented in HD on the big screen at the Newport Performing Arts Center’s Alice Silverman Theatre.

About the Newport Performing Arts Center
