Ms. Le Grand mixes color,feelings and stories of the human condition on to canvas. She prefers to work in a larger format. Starting from an early age she was fascinated by color and the way moods and feelings were interpreted by the Masters. Some of her favorite artists are the German Expressionists of the Twentieh Century. She paints many portraits, as well as nudes. Her paintings are pages in her own personal diary. In addition to painting Ms. Le Grand teaches adult art classes in bringing out the inner muse and is the Art Director for the Boys & Girls Club of Southwestern Oregon. She paints most everyday and always paints to music.
