Joanne Daschel creates stained-glass mosaics on various substrate materials such as porcelain tile. Her work reflects interests in gardening, food, nature and travel. She embraced the mosaic medium after decades of working in pen & ink, exhibiting throughout the Northwest, including serving as artist-in-residence at Glacier National Park.
Joanne lives and works in Lincoln City, and is a member of the Artists’ Studio Association, Oregon Coast Mosaic Artists Guild and the Society of American Mosaic Artists. She will be featured in a 2013 exhibit of mosaic artists at the Chessman Gallery in Lincoln City.
