Jon specializes in creating one of a kind artistic woodturnings and custom furniture featuring the beautiful wood of the Oregon Coast.
Jon grew up in the woodworking business and has been turning wood since the age of 13. He left home to get his Masters degree in mechanical engineering. While working as a design engineer for Boeing he built up his own workshop space to allow him to continue his love of woodworking. He “retired” early to return to the family business at The Myrtlewood Gallery and pursue his preferred career as an artistic woodworker
