A Reading of “A Christmas Carol” by Charles Dickens, presented by Claire Hall
Claire continues the long-time PAC tradition of a free holiday reading by presenting Charles Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol” on Saturday, Dec. 14 at 2 p.m. at the David Ogden Stiers Theater in the Newport Performing Arts Center. Claire will be reading from a reproduction of Dickens’ own “prompt copy,” a version of the classic story he personally edited for public performance. Admission will be by donation, with all funds going in support of “Entertain the Future!” – the capital campaign to expand and enhance the PAC.
