Join us on Tuesday, November 7th as we reveal the results of the Arts & Economic Prosperity 6 study — the nationwide data, statewide data, and exciting Lincoln County-specific results! An official representative from Americans for the Arts will be traveling to Newport to lead this engaging presentation.
Data for the Arts & Economic Prosperity 6 study — the sixth economic impact study of the nonprofit arts and culture industry in the U.S. — was collected throughout 2022 and 2023, to gauge the economic impact (on employment, government revenue, and household income) of spending by nonprofit arts and culture organizations, as well as event-related spending by their audiences. In Lincoln County, Oregon Coast Council for the Arts joined forces with Americans for the Arts, Oregon Arts Commission, Travel Oregon, Linoln City Urban Renewal & Economic Development, and the Economic Development Alliance of Lincoln County to help spread the word and collect surveys throughout our community.
Who should come? Representatives from Lincoln County Arts & Cultural organizations, elected officials, creatives, tourism providers, and more. In addition to learning about what this data means for us, locally, you’ll hear interesting insights, enjoy light refresments, and have the opportunity to make meaningful networking connections.
