The Newport Visual Arts Center is hosting a selection of pieces from the Art About Agriculture Competition and Touring Exhibition 2022: The Sustainable Feast – sponsored by the Oregon State University Collage of Agricultural Sciences. The Exhibition presents artworks from Northwest artists on topics related to food production and consumption. Working closely with Oregon State University’s Food Innovation Center in Portland, this statewide touring exhibition aims to explore the importance of sustainability, diversity, and innovation in our food system.
The Newport Visual Arts Center is open Wednesday – Sunday 12-4pm
The Oregon Coast Council for the Arts manages the Newport Visual Arts Center and the Newport Performing Arts Center, and serves as the regional arts council for Oregon’s seven coastal counties.
