As You LIke It (abridged)

Wise fools, a magical forest, young love…all the elements that make the Bard’s comedies so much fun! Seeking her exiled father and escape from an oppressive court, Rosalind, disguised as a boy, flees with her cousin and a clown to the Forest of Arden. The woods offer freedom, a motley crew of characters, and the chance to experience life and love from a whole new perspective, with fellow outcast Orlando.

Youth entering 6th-12th grades were invited to join us for our Summer 2024 Shakespeare Camp, directed by Milo Graamans with assistance from Danika Simon. Come witness the final performance of these talented young actors!

About Milo Graamans, director: Milo has been a part of Shakespeare Camps since 2012, first as a participant, then as an assistant, and now as its esteemed director. Milo is also active in Shakespeare productions with Red Octopus Theatre Company, directing “The Two Noble Kinsmen” (2018) and “Coriolanus” (2023), as well as acting in “The Taming of the Shrew” (2015) and “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” (2018). His original musical, “She Loves Me Not”, was presented by Porthole Players in 2014 and 2019; and his singer-songwriter album, “A Reason to Change”, was released in 2022.
