Bring your full bag(s) of recyclable bottles and cans to the Newport Performing Arts Center August 1-23, and we’ll treat you to a world-class performance!
For each full bag (large garbage bag size) of recyclable bottles and cans you donate, you’ll receive one ticket to your choice of performances: either enjoy National Theatre Live’s production of King Lear [link] starring Ian McKellan on August 28th, or Metropolitan Opera’s season opener – Les Contes d’Hoffman [link] – on October 12th. Both performances were filmed live and will be presented in ultra-HD on the big screen in the Alice Silverman Theatre.
But honestly, why choose? Bring two bags and treat yourself to both performances! Or better still…bring many bags and gift the tickets to friends and loved ones! The choice is yours!
We’ll even send you off with a brand new recycling bag that you can fill and drop off later at any Bottle Drop location.
Bottles and cans must be bagged and can be dropped off during box office hours, Tuesday-Friday from 10am-5pm, between August 1-23, 2024.
All proceeds benefit Performing Arts Center operations.
