Explore, move, imagine, and create this summer at the VAC!
Creative kids headed into 3rd-5th grades (as of fall 2025) are invited to explore a variety of creative arts (including music, dance, and visual art-making) during this week-long camp. Activities will include drumming, marimbas, ukulele, singing, and dancing, mosaic painting, drawing, sculpture, poetry, and shadow puppets.
Students entering 3rd-5th grades
10am – 1pm (drop-offs 9:30am-10am)
Tuition:
$200 (includes snacks and supplies)
Students should bring a water bottle and a sack lunch
Maximum of 30 students. Deadline to register is July 1.

About Crystal Akins Meneses, Camp Director: Crystal is a coastal interdisciplinary artist who centers her work in arts for social change. She has received awards and commissions from across the state. Her most notable award was becoming a Field’s Artists Fellow in 2019 awarded by the Oregon Community Foundation and Oregon Humanities. She has worked as a music and arts educator for more than 20 years. Her projects include murals, music composition, music performance, and interdisciplinary arts organizing.
