Festive Holiday Mobile

Saturday, December 13th, 12-4:30pm (w/half hour lunch break)
$85 | Ages 14+ (with accompanying adult)
In this workshop, students will design and construct festive decorative mobiles inspired by the traditional Polish pajaki. Using colorful fabric scraps and yarn, participants will create a charming chandelier-style hanging to brighten their holiday décor.
Students should bring: One 10” or 12” embroidery hoop; can be made of plastic or wood. Colorful fabric scraps (there will be some provided but more is always fun!) Some colorful yarn (weight doesn’t matter).
Not required but great to bring: Sparkly and shiny fabric, big beads, additional embroidery hoops in other sizes.

About the instructor: Raised in Seattle,WA and Sacramento,CA, I have worked professionally in the performing arts spanning 50 years as an artisan in theatre, film, tv, and commercial work. I have a diverse variety of skills including making armor, millinery, metalworking, sculpting, mold making, upholstery, felting, weaving, mosaics, shibori dyeing, printing, leatherwork and novelty costume making.
