Harvested Color: From Garden to Garment
Part of Fiber Fest 2026
January 10 – February 28, 2026
COVAS Showcase
An exploration of botanical forms and dyes on natural fibers. Waldport’s Twisted Tidewater owner and fiber enthusiast Randi Stevens fills the COVAS Showcase with her process-driven eco print experiments turned sewn creations. While leaning on her fascination with the power of plants and dyes to transform fabrics and fibers, Stevens produces textiles from garden to garment.
An opening reception will be held on Friday, January 16, from 3-6pm, featuring light refreshments and music.
To help ensure an enjoyable experience for all, we kindly encourage guests to consider attending fragrance-free in support of those with allergies and sensitivities.
FIBER FEST, running January 10 to February 28, 2026 – celebrates fiber arts and artists with exhibits, demonstrations, and classes.
Randi’s fiber arts journey began as a child with her grandmother Amy, who taught her to crochet and sew. Her natural dye journey began in 2019 when she plucked all the dandelions from her lawn and dyed wool. Then she felt bad for the pollinators and started a dye garden they both could enjoy. The adventure continues as Randi now specializes in hand-dyed yarns and eco-printed textiles.
Randi lives in Tidewater, Oregon with her husband, Mark, and two well-dressed kitties, Calcite and Hematite. Together, Mark and Randi showcase their wooly and woody creativity in their store, Tidewater Creations, located in Waldport, Oregon.
