Lindee Cunningham has lived on the Oregon Coast for the past 42 years. She has been decorating bird houses for 10 years. Each house incorporates a checkerboard roof, peace symbol, and unique, colorful beadwork patterning.
Located at the historic Nye Beach turnaround, the Newport Visual Arts Center (VAC) was built by the City of Newport and opened in 1983 as a public art exhibition space and for art education programs. It is maintained and operated by Oregon Coast Council for the Arts. The VAC includes three traditional gallery spaces, as well two classrooms/event spaces.
