Due to concerns about the spread of Covid-19, and the Oregon Coast Council for the Arts prioritization of the health of students and teachers, we are rescheduling the March workshops for adults. We apologize for the inconvenience, and we’ll let you know as soon as we’ve set new dates for these events.
There are four options regarding your registration fee:
- Apply it to the new date! We’ll let you know as soon as we can about reschedule dates.
- A credit toward any upcoming art class for adults.
- Refund your registration (minus a $5 processing fee). Email firstname.lastname@example.org with your refund request.
- Please consider donating your registration fee to OCCA. Email email@example.com to receive a donation receipt.
Thank you for your understanding.
This workshop will introduce you to the basic techniques of wet felting objects, including choosing materials and troubleshooting results. In the morning, you will learn to create a solid wool ball (suitable for a dryer ball, cat toy or decoration) and then add surface decoration. In the afternoon, you will felt a small container over a removable armature (in this case an orange).
No experience necessary, all materials provided. Please bring apron and clothes that can get damp. Register online at https://forms.gle/uWWAGqGDqaWYVfz28.
