Learn by Doing: Grant Writing
A Grant Writing Workshop Series hosted by Nonprofit Board Training and Resources and The Ford Family Foundation is being offered to all area nonprofit organizations during the Winter of 2020. The workshop series is designed to help beginning and intermediate grant writers working in nonprofit organizations and governmental entities increase their skills at developing project proposals and successfully planning, writing and attaining grant funding.
Nonprofit organizations are encouraged to bring more than one board member, staff, or volunteer from each organization. The cost for the series (including lunches) is $115 per person. Early registration is encouraged; the series will be limited to 40 participants.
The four part series will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursdays at the Newport Recreation Center, 225 SE Avery Street in Newport.

Session 2: Feb. 6, 2020 Grant Writing and Grant Review
Session 3: Feb. 20, 2020 Strategic Thinking and Budgeting
Session 4: Mar. 5, 2020 Program Evaluation and Organizational Site Visits
