New Visions Arts is proud to present the Pulitzer Prize winning Best Play, “OF MICE AND MEN” by John Steinbeck at The Newport Performing Arts Center, October 13th through October 29th, Fridays through Sundays.
“OF MICE AND MEN,” based on the novella of the same name by John Steinbeck, is directed by Marc Maislen and stars Nate Bush and Gary Herd. Originally produced in 1937, “OF MICE AND MEN” narrates the experiences of George Milton and Lennie Small, two displaced migrant workers in California in search of work and greater dreams of independence. In a world on the threshold of war and reeling from the Great Depression and the Dust Bowl, the story centers on George and Lennie’s friendship and their quest to find a place to call their own.
