A jealous diva, the ardent painter who loves her, and the villainous chief of police who tears them asunder. Featuring several of opera’s biggest stars! This grand, immersive production by David McVicar transports audiences to three picturesque locations in Rome. Music Director Yannick Nézet-Séguin and Principal Guest Conductor Daniele Rustioni each take the podium.
This special encore is presented in celebration of Met Opera Live in HD series’s 20th anniversary. It is not included in the season, but season ticket holders may add it on for only $19 by calling the box office (541-265-ARTS). Presented in HD on the big screen at the Newport Performing Arts Center’s Alice Silverman Theatre.

About the Newport Performing Arts Center
