2020 YACHATS BANNER PROJECT NOW LIVE ONLINE!
The Yachats Banner Project Auction has gone live online.
You can now view and bid on any of the 29 banners created by South County artists that are hanging on the antique Yachats lampposts along highway 101.
These beautiful banners will remain on display during the summer months along Hwy. 101.
Each canvas banner measures about 23" x 42”. The designs were applied with acrylic paints. The 2020 theme is “Yachats Patterns.”
The banners are for sale. Traditionally the banners have been auctioned off in a fun filled gala community event held at the commons. Funds raised go to a local arts education and projects.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic restrictions, and concern for everyone’s safety, there will be no silent auction this year. However, PPP is holding an online auction in its place. The auction opened July 27, and the hammer will fall, Sat. Sept. 19 at 4 PM. Banners can be shipped, and a socially distanced pick up party is scheduled for Saturday Sept. 26, 2-4 PM on the patio at the Drift Inn.
You can see all the banners online, plus access the auction on the Polly Plumb website. www.pollyplumb.org. Auction questions email us….. auction@pollyplumb.org
