PUT A LITTLE SCIENCE IN YOUR ART WITH SCIENCE ILLUSTRATOR NORA SHERWOOD
Have you ever been curious about how a science illustrator approaches creating illustrations? We occupy the “geeky” end of the art spectrum with a focus on realism and an emphasis on telling a visual story about our subject matter. We are the folks who create illustrations for museums, scientists, government agencies, etc. for educational purposes. This workshop will introduce a few tools used by science illustrators like basic observation techniques, measured drawing skills, and a little knowledge of anatomy, and give you the opportunity to work on some of these techniques with guidance and demos by Nora.
