The Oregon Coast Chamber Orchestra was officially created as a 501(c)3 in 2001 under the baton of Robin DeVour. John Monks has served as co-conductor for the past several years and is responsible for selecting and arranging every program.
John Bringetto joined Maestro Monks at the podium in 2017 after retiring as conductor of the Newport High School Band and Choir.He is also conductor of the Lincoln City Pops. The orchestra is made up of musicians from the central coast and the Eugene/Springfield area.
The Fall and Spring concerts are performed in Reedsport, Yachats and Florence for of a total of six performances each season.
