Lincoln City – Taft High School and Middle School Drama.
Welcome to the Tiger Stripe Players! We are the theatre program located at Taft 7-12 in the beautiful coastal town of Lincoln City, Oregon. After seeing the theatre program take a hit, like everything else in this world during the pandemic, we were in need of revamping our program.
Back in 2022/2023, we started fresh with a new director team. Raleigh Bartholomew, our middle school PE and choir teacher, has worked in our district for the past five years, three of which have been at Taft. Chloe Migliaccio is our high school American Sign Language (ASL) and Mythology/Folklore teacher. She has worked in our district since 2014, starting as a special education assistant and began teaching at Taft for the 2018/2019 school year.
In 2023/2024, our team was joined by Destin Swisher as stage manager. A Taft graduate himself, Des came back to work for Taft as a special education assistant and is working towards a teaching degree in history. After the final show the year, we let cast and crew know that our amazing Raleigh had taken a position teaching music at another school in our district. Sadly, he will not continue in the director capacity for future shows but will still help out when he is available.
Now, in our 2024/2025 school year, Tracy Lilly joined our team as assistant director, bringing her many years of theatre experience as a teacher and as a performer. We are excited to add her expertise to the mix!
Our troupe knows that every year brings new challenges, so we are thrilled to see what the future holds.
