The Toledo Arts Guild has at least one monthly meeting, on the first Thursday of every month. Meetings are a combination of educational and business. There are demonstrations or mini workshops held during this monthly meeting, now held in Impressions Pacific, a gallery on Main Street. The Guild is open to artists and supporter of the arts no matter where they reside or their medium.

Today there are 36 members, and include artists in all aspects of visual and performing arts: painters, woodworkers, glass artists, fiber artists, actors, musicians, paper artists, sculptors, metal workers, printmakers, photographers, jewelers, potters, weavers, fine crafts, basketry, fiber artists, nature constructions, arts supporters, and many involved in 2-d and 3-d multimedia.

The Guild has worked with the city of Toledo and organizations by sponsoring or judging the Scarecrow Festival, Christmas lighting displays and window contests. The Guild has also he assisted with decorating the seasonal Main Street displays, including autumn wreaths and Christmas wreaths, and repainting the Valentine heart boards

When the Toledo High School lost its art department in due to budget cuts, the Guild stepped in to provide an After School Arts program with its member artists in 2013-2015. For the past 3 years the guild has organized and run the Annual Sidewalk Chalk Drawing Contest (part of the Summer Festival in July), and in January of 2015 adopted and installed a “Little Free Library” installed on Main Street by City Hall.

The Guild is an ongoing and vital part of the Arts Community in the Little Town on the River.
