Students will use oil or acrylic paint to start new paintings, finish old paintings, try different painting techniques or a combination of all four. Subject matter can be landscape, abstract, still life, figurative. Where the student is in their journey as a painter is where Sandy will start with one on one instruction interspersed with brief class comments. The class will focus on the process of painting, handling paint, mixing colors, brush techniques, exploring painting styles, and having fun with the creative process.
