Show off your mending with color choices and artistic style to show the world you’re giving your clothes a longer life while keeping them out of the landfill! Learn hand stitching techniques with yarn to close up holes and mend edges in knitted pieces, as well as how to needle felt (which can be used to close up smaller holes and add embellishments to your item).

This is a beginner-friendly class, but some experience with hand stitching will be helpful. Please bring a clean knitted item to mend (e.g., knit sweater, socks, or blanket). Consider mending a loved one’s item as a gift. Bring yarn and/or roving for your project if desired. A selection will
be provided by the instructor.
