May 27th – Bead Making Magic with Robin Berry
Learn the magic of turning colorful papers into one-of-a-kind beads. In this class, Robin will guide students in cutting, rolling, and sealing paper into vibrant beads. They will work on hand and eye coordination while creating personalized bracelets, key chains, or necklaces.

Paper Marbling with Charlotte Van Zant King
In this class, students explored the art of marbling. They used paper and acrylic inks to create fun marbled designs on paper. Additionally, they had a chance to decorate a t-shirt with their favorite marbled design.
Introduction to Crochet with Randi Stevens
Students explored the world of fiber arts, and also received an introduction to crochet and weaving. They worked with traditional crotchet hooks, yarn, and needles, and also practiced basic weaving on small cardboard looms.
Botanical Exploration with Marcy Kenyon
Students learned a little science about flowers and pollinators as they worked on this art project. They built flowers from different materials and celebrated spring.
Playing with Clay with Rena Ekmanis
In this class, students played with clay while Rena helped them create a hand-made sculptural piece. They fired the pieces in our kiln, and were given an opportunity to glaze them during a later class.
Fun with Color with Miguel Martinez
Students delved deep into the world of color for this class! Miguel walked them through the color wheel and color mixing. Students also learned to create their favorite color and name it.
All about Zines with Morgan Brothers
Students learned what a zine is and how to create one. Morgan also provided some fun writing prompts. Students created a story and turned it into a finished zine to take home.
Sketching the Wild with Christina Carlsen
Students learned the basics behind drawing their favorite animals. Christina demonstrated how to break down any animal into simple shapes. Also how to refine the drawing and develop it further by adding details and shading.
Woven Wonders with Anna Biszantz
This class introduced our young artists to the ancient art of weaving. Students learned the “over-under” technique and enhanced fine motor skills. They also explored color, texture, and pattern-making on a small loom. They left with a finished, handmade piece of art and the skills to continue weaving at home.
