WINNER! Play of the decade
Broadway World Las Vegas
“A brilliant and thrilling adaptation”
Philadelphia Inquirer
Poor Richard’s Players & Red Octopus Theatre Company are thrilled to bring the Las Vegas production that won Broadway World’s coveted “Play of the Decade” to the Oregon Coast, along with its original star – Sean Critchfield.
A storyteller emerges to recount one of oldest epics in Western civilization. The elements are familiar, but this poet points to something more in the text…in this extraordinary, eye-opening night of theatre, we are on the front lines of every major war in history, reliving a futile struggle that has replayed itself over thousands of years. An Iliad transports us through time to feel the glory and honor of war—as well as the loneliness and pain it leaves in its wake.
