Is the Newport Visual Arts Center free to visit?
As a matter of fact, it is! Our galleries welcome the public free of charge, therefore no admission nor reservation is needed.
Where is it located?
Find us at 777 NW Beach Drive, Newport, Oregon, at the Nye Beach Turnaround.
Is parking available?
Yes, there is plenty of parking nearby, however please note that the City of Newport does charge $1/hour for parking in the turnaround lot at certain times of day during certain times of year. Please visit newportoregon.gov/parking.php for more information.
How often do exhibits change?
In general, we rotate our exhibits every 1–3 months. Check our calendar for current and upcoming shows. Additionally, please note that our galleries close for a few days between exhibits while our team installs each new show.
Is the VAC available for rentals?
It certainly is! We rent space for events and gatherings. Explore rental options at the VAC.
Is there a way to submit my artwork for exhibition at the VAC?
